OUR IDEOLOGY

We’ve seriously considered what we can best do through outdoor activities ever since we established our outdoor adventure business in Minakami Town.

Your words of “It was FUN!!” with your big smile made us feel SO HAPPY! We want more people to realize and experience how wonderful and enjoyable it is to be a true part of nature. We’d like to keep on proposing and providing various outdoor activities for you.

Every participant fully enjoys our activities and they are really impressed with what they were able to accomplish. And we, the staff of Forest & Water, can also enjoy spending memorable times with you. These are our mottoes!! We’d like to keep on guiding you through the wonderful world of nature.

Realizing the importance of the preservation of wild nature on a global scale and having warm heartfelt relationships together, we hereby propose to dedicate “Enjoyable Outdoor Activities” to all generations and to all peoples of the world!

OUR BUSINESS

【Spring through Autumn】

Rafting, canoeing, trekking and other outdoor activities can be enjoyed throughout each of the seasons. We also hold various social events to help make the interaction exchange among our guests more exciting, enjoyable and active.

【Summer】

Ducky Tour, Canyoning and Family Canoeing. Let’s make this an unforgettable memory with our “Family Canoeing Trial”.

【Winter】

Snow-Shoe Trekking. There are many enjoyable activities you can do only in the winter season such as chasing animal footprints to their nests and sliding down the snowy hills on your back!

Back Country , which is to play and to have fun and to relax in the fresh snow of the mountains, is becoming a very popular sport. You also enjoy skiing and snowboarding on the fresh snow, not on the piste, and trekking in this tour.

Noriyuki Abe

I had my first opportunity of working with a rafting company 20 years ago in New Zealand.

I was totally impressed with rafting, and had a strong desire to some day introduce this wonderful sport to the people in Japan.

I have had training and experience of rafting in Canada and other countries overseas as well.

Eventually I started “Forest & Water” with my desire to let everyone realize how enjoyable and relaxing it is to play in and be part of the world of nature. I will always to do my best to continually keep guiding you through this beautiful and wonderful outdoor world.
